I feel truly honored to lead an organization as professional and caring as the Seaside Police Department. The men and women of this organization are truly committed to the safety of this fine community.

We are a progressive department committed, not just to the philosophy, but to the practice of Community Oriented Policing. As such, we are constantly striving to improve the quality of life for our residents and visitors.

The City of Seaside, and the Seaside Police Department, are at a critical juncture in our history. The city now has jurisdiction over a large portion of the former Fort Ord Army Base. This has effectively tripled the geographic size of our city, with an enormous opportunity for growth. As such, the police department now faces the challenge and opportunity to meet our increasing service needs.
