I am truly honored to serve as the Chief of Police for the wonderful community of Seaside. The men and women of our organization have worked very hard to make sure Seaside is a safe place to live, work and visit. Their commitment to this goal is present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Seaside is clearly a city on the move and we at the Police Department are preparing for many new challenges. The City’s expansion to the north in the former Fort Ord area is well under way and we are planning for those new developments right now. It is truly an exciting time to be living and working in Seaside and we are committed to making sure public safety is our top priority.

Our department has become a leader in Monterey County and I believe our officers and support staff are among the best in the State of California. We are always looking for the best candidates to work for the police department and in fact, most of our team members come from local communities such as Monterey, Salinas, and of course, Seaside. This is part of what makes the Seaside Police Department a community oriented organization.
